The development of the body of knowledge known
as Behavioral Economics (BE) constitutes a major
step forward in our understanding of human
decision-making. While many points in time could
be selected as the beginning of BE (even as far back
as the 1970’s) many peg Daniel Kahneman’s winning
of the Nobel Prize in 2002 for raising general
awareness of the discipline.
